What time of day do the signals come out and how do I get them?
The Swing and 9pm Dow scalp signals are sent to you, Monday to Friday, between 8.45pm and 10pm. They are sent by e-mail and you should receive them in plenty of time to place your bet. The Forex set and forget signals are sent between 10pm and 11pm and the Intra-Day levels are sent around 10.30pm.
How do I place my signals?
You can use a spread betting platform, such as IG Index, or a broker.
Do your signals include the entry price, stop loss and take profit targets?
The Swing Trade signal includes the entry price, and stop loss level. As the trade can last for several days usually a specific take profit target is not given. All you need to do is place the trade and forget about it until the next signal comes through the following day between 9pm and 10pm.
The Dow scalping signal includes the entry price, stop loss and take profit target. This will always be sent before 9pm and all you do is placed the trade at 9pm and then forget about it.
The Forex set and forget signal will include the entry price, stop loss and take profit target and will be sent between 10pm and 11pm.
How much money will I make?
It depends on the size of your account and how much you bet per point. We recommend a sensible approach, say no more than 5% per trade. Obviously the more you can start with, the more profits you will make, but we would never recommend putting at risk more than you can afford to lose.
What is the smallest amount I can start with?
Most spread betting companies will allow you to open an account with as little as £200, but we recommend a minimum of £1,000. It is possible, if you just stick to a strategy and do not deviate from it, to make significant sums even from the smallest of accounts.
What if I'm brand new to this and don't even understand the basics of spread betting or placing a trade with a broker?
If you have never traded before and are unfamiliar with the proceedure, then you can open a practice (demo) account and use this for the first few weeks so that you can get used to the mechanics of placing trades online.
Every spread betting company and broker's platform should come with help files and tutorials to assist you.
Is trading risky?
There are certainly risks involved, as there are with anything which can give you high returns, but the risks can be controlled. If you are using a system which is profitable overall and being consistent with that system, plus using good money management, then you can do very well indeed.
Will I have to pay tax on my trading profits?
At the moment spreadbetting is tax free in the UK. However, if you place your trades via a broker then tax will be due on your profits.
